Labor Of Love

Love—the craving of any man,
The culmination of which
Gave birth to masterpieces,
Like Romeo and Juliet
And the magnificent Taj Mahal.

But the perfect incarnation of love,
Is on the cross at Golgotha
Where the Son of God gave up His life,
And took the punishment of sinful men.

Seasons changed and centuries passed,
Still vivid are the events
In Christian minds,
Causing eyes to flood and tears to trickle down.

Inventions of modern man
Changed the quality of present life,
But this labor of love still defines
The destiny of all mankind!

All of man’s labor
Will come to naught,
But this labor of love,
Will remain true for all eternity!
