The past is a tapestry of grimes and horrors,
The present is a story of crimes and errors,
In the imminent future who can you run to?
Cry out to Christ Jesus—He is a Friend so true.

Why seek for success in a world that is morally upside-down
Only to forfeit your eternal soul and your heavenly crown?
Why keep walking along the wide path that leads you astray?
Follow Christ Jesus—He is the Way.

People want peace and yet are victims of violence,
Honest opinions are suppressed under a shroud of silence,
Why go with those who lure you into their snares of untruth?
Follow Christ Jesus—He is the Truth.

Marriages and families are poisoned by the seed of lust,
Was the indulgence worth losing your loved one’s trust?
Oppression and abuse will only beget death and strife,
Follow Christ Jesus—He is the Life.

There are many religions which insist on their dogma,
With teachings that confuse you with karmic drama.
Follow Him who died and rose victorious;
He is the only way to God the Father.

Jesus told him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
No one can come to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6
