Hidden In My Savior

Your holy throne is set high above,
Mere mortal man cannot approach.
Your glorious stature shines divine
That sinful eyes are rendered blind.
Yet Your loving grace is clearly shown
To lowly beings like my own.
For You descended from on high
And paid the ransom to draw me nigh.

Tell me, Lord, what can I do,
To hide all of myself in You?
Tell me, Lord, what can I say,
To look upon Your holy face?
How can I approach Your throne,
To fix my eyes on You alone?
How can I dwell in Your courts,
To be near where You belong?

I want to know You better and more,
I desire You to be my all in all.
This poem I render to You alone;
My Abba Father who loves me so.
You gave me Christ that I am saved
And now, I am Your dwelling place.
In Your presence, now I stand,
Redeemed, restored to righteousness.
