What Do You Think Love Is?

We found this short film on the website of Bulls and Arrows—a Christian ministry based in Australia releasing short films tackling different topics and issues we all deal with in the schoolyard and on the street.

What do you think love is? Could you identify with Hannah? Is there something from God’s Word you could use to encourage her?

I remember watching this last year, when all those emotions that Hannah describes were all too real… and still very hard to come to terms with. I think that like Hannah, I was on a journey. And while I still haven’t found love, I still have hope, and have come to a point where I am content just to see and feel love around me. I don’t have any words from the Bible to share, but I get the sense that’s not what Hannah needs. She seems to be very emotionally and spiritually aware, and I trust that God will reveal his love to her in her life-long partner soon, if he hasn’t already done so. Trusting steadfastly in God’s love!

what it can add to it. But over time, I’ve been able to better understand marriage by studying God’s Word.
In 1 Corinthians 7:8-9, Paul’s general advice is that it’s better to [...]

player score for the opposing team. It was late in a
game, and my team had the contest in hand. One by one, my coach began sending in players who rarely got a chance to play.
One of my teammates, Sam, bounced [...]
