How was the project/script/song conceived? I worked mostly with the production side of the video. But I know Jarod wrote it, Krystin edited it, and we all performed it. How do you feel about being involved in this project? I feel like I’ve been used for a higher calling to reach people’s lives in a deeper way. What do you hope could be achieved through this project? I hope that God will be glorified and that people will find Christ and their worth in Him. Could you identify with the character in the song? In a way yes, but mostly no. I see tons of people at school and in classes that are wrapped up in relationships. It’s just a matter of how many boyfriends or girlfriends they can have, but usually they just end up deeper in a hole. They don’t have a light at the end of the tunnel, so they think they are stuck in the cycle forever. I believe that when the things of this world bring us down, the only thing we can do is to look up. Christ is always there with open arms and waiting for us. Do you see yourself doing more of such similar projects? Why? Yes. I’ve seen lives touched and glory brought to God. I grew closer to people and God through this project, so it definitely makes me want to do more. |
| Nathan enjoys golfing and playing the guitar. In fact, he has been playing the instrument since 10 years old. He grooves to the music of Jeff Johnson, David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin, Justin Cofield, Leeland, and Tenth Avenue North. He wants to become a youth minister. |
