I'm always thankful to God for this reminder and it really defines God's salvation plan for our lives. Nothing we can do can save us and that is a really important point for us as Christian's to remember. I recall a very concise acronym that was taught in Sunday School – G.R.A.C.E: God's Redemption At Christ's Expense. I think that summarizes easily in a nutshell what our salvation is based on.
