HOPE (2)
This song by Third Day says it better.
Cry out to Jesus
Written by Mac Powell
Performed by Third Day
Cry out to Jesus
To everyone who’s lost someone they love long before it was their time
You feel like the days you had were not enough when you said goodbye
And to all of the people with burdens and pains
Keeping you back from your life
You believe that there’s nothing and there is no one who can make it right
There is hope for the helpless
Grace for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing will meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus
For the marriage that is struggling just to hang on
They’ve lost all of their faith and love
And they’ve done all they can to make it right again and still its not enough
For the one’s who can’t break the addictions and chains
You try to give up but you come back again
Just remember that you are not alone in your shame and your suffering, no.. o
When you are lonely and it feels like the whole world is falling on you
You just reach out
You just cry out to Jesus
Cry to Jesus
For the widow who suffers from being alone
Wiping her tears from her eyes
For the children around the world without a home
Say a prayer tonight

Hope is found in knowing that God is in control despite of everything that is happening around us. We live in a world that is dying slowly. When we look around us, the day before seems better than the day ahead. However hope requires that we believe that we have a better, brighter future because we know Who holds the universe in the palm of His Hands.
No one will ever fully understand what we are going through—whether we are fighting feelings of insecurity, loneliness, bereavement or disappointment—because we are different and deal with things differently. People can be there for you to encourage, comfort and guide but there are scars that only the Healer can heal. There are tears that only God can wipe away. It’s the scars that people cannot see that hurt the most, which bleed and in the end live us lifeless. Only going before God and allowing Him to heal us could stop our bleeding and make us whole again.

I have one word for this piece… AWESOME!!!!!
It’s amazing how the world and all its cares can make one sad and hopeless and therefore stop living all together but it’s encouraging to know that there are people out there who believe that tomorrow will be better and things will be ok no matter what!
Kudos to you Sophie and keep on dreaming!!!
Thanks Sophie for the encouraging article
You wrote, “but there are scars that only the Healer can heal. There are tears that only God can wipe away. I am reminded of the verses in Psalm 73:25-26
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
This has been my prayer for some friends who are going through a really rough patch, to the point that they no longer believe in going before God as depression sets them deep into a dark negative world. Will share your article with them definitely! Thanks!
